Choose a Honda as Your Next Car
If you’re in the market for a new car, it’s important to do your research and compare many different makes and models before coming to a decision.
However, one manufacturer which people keep choosing time and time again is Honda.
But why exactly are Hondas so popular? We’re going to take a look at five reasons why you should consider buying a Honda as your next car.
Of course, safety has to be one of your top considerations when purchasing a vehicle, especially if you have a family.
Honda takes extra care to ensure that their vehicles are as safe as possible, and have picked up numerous safety awards over the years with various models picking up the 2016 IIHS Top Safety Pick award, including the Accord Sedan and Coupe.
You can read more about the work Honda does to make their vehicles as safe as possible at their site, including trying to make vehicles capable of cutting collisions in half by 2020, and a thing of the past completely by 2040.
Easy to look after:
Once you’ve bought a car, the last thing that you want to be doing is taking it in for repairs every five minutes, especially as repairs can be costly.
We spoke to Cox Motor Parts, a genuine Honda parts dealer, who said: Thankfully, Hondas are built to last, and it’s estimated that a newly bought one will last way past the 100,000-mile mark, and could even last as long as a decade.
Hondas also come with an extensive warranty, with the vehicle being covered for three years and certain parts such as the exhaust and chassis covered for even longer.
Fuel efficiency is another big deciding factor when purchasing a car, and research has shown that while many other manufacturers will make similar claims, it is actually Honda who have consistently had the best fuel economy.
Hondas were found to achieve just over 40 miles per gallon, which is 7.8 times higher than the minimum which they must achieve.
Honda is also committed to investing in a range of hybrid vehicles, and are always looking into environmentally friendly ways to run their cars and reduce carbon emissions, such as using fuel cells.
Easy to insure:
Obviously, the amount that you’re going to spend on insurance depends upon your own personal circumstances.
However, generally speaking, Hondas are cheap vehicles to insure because of their impressive safety record.
As you can see in this post from Cheat Sheet, three of the top four cheapest vehicles to ensure are Hondas.
Lots of choice:
As one of the world’s leading car manufacturers, Honda has an excellent range of vehicles to choose from, and to suit any type of driver, whatever your needs.
Of course, there are the classic models which most people know, such as the Civic and the Jazz, but there are also more spacious models such as the Civic Tourer and the HR-V for those who need it.
